I CAN provides early years training which supports children 0-5. The training is for practitioners working in early years settings.
Primary
I CAN provides primary years training which supports children aged 5-11 . The training is for staff working in primary schools.
Secondary
I CAN provides secondary training which supports children aged 11-19. The training is for staff working in secondary schools.
I CAN Licensee Network
I CAN has created a UK-Wide network of Licensees who are trained and supported by I CAN.
Licensees can be experienced Speech and Language Therapists, experienced teachers (those with equivalent QTS) and Educational Psychologists.
I CAN Accreditation & Good Practice Validation
I CAN Accreditation is a quality assurance tool developed to recognise good practice of provision for speech, language and communication and also provides practical ideas for further improvement. Accreditation is available to early years settings and primary schools.
Good Practice Validation is available to groups and services which operate out of Children’s Centres, or other venues. These groups can have their support of children’s communication and language development validated by I CAN.
